Here at Ashquar Arabians we strive to breed Arabians with type, temperament, and trainability. We breed horses with the type and flash for halter and the athletic ability for performance. We also strive to breed horses with the sought-after chestnut color with flaxen manes and tails.
Our stallion NYN Mzimu Elmisri (*Sanadik El Shaklan x Zahra Bint El Shaklan by *El Shaklan) has been the New Mexico State Fair Champion Purebred Halter Stallion in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. He also has numerous wins in AOTH Halter as well. Zimu is double *El Shaklan and our broodmares carry the bloodlines of such greats as Gold N Ali, Ali Jamaal, Ruminaja Ali, Ansata Ibn Halima and *Bask+++. Our horses are excellent representatives of the Arabian horse with wonderful, people-oriented dispositions and beautiful type and conformation.
I am a member of the Arabian Horse Association (AHA), and of the Arabian Horse Association of New Mexico (AHANM), and occasionally, when time permits, I volunteer to help out at Youth National and US Nationals.
Our ranch is located on 50 acres in Moriarty, New Mexico, which is about 40 miles east of Albuquerque in the central high plains.
